This 1840s townhouse is a private residence for a couple and their two young children. Inspiration for the design was drawn from the client’s late mother’s paintings. The building is located within a Landmark historic district in Brooklyn, and received a full historic façade restoration.Historic and modern details merge through the distilled material palette to meet the family’s needs. The new design aims to capture the client’s mother’s spirit.
