Cité Arago
Cité Arago built by Paul Chemetov in 1975 in the suburbs of Saint-Ouen. It is social housing project with triplex, duplex, and single units, located in the suburb of Saint-Ouen. Research and analysis was conducted to understand the dwelling unit and the surrounding social context. This proposal called for establishing shared communal spaces within the building through new circulation, reimagining the rooftop, and activating the ground at the exterior through a marketplace and park.

About Studio/
The disjointed body of the Parisian suburbs – which are separated from the well-defined city – presents a lack of viable public and open spaces that can serve the large population. This studio focused on engaging six suburbs of Paris with the goal of intervening on selected buildings, to foster a more attuned environment for its residents.
